While we were in Tulsa, Kate was able to go swimming at the hotel pool. At first, it was a little cold for her and she wasn't sure about it. After spending some time in Momma's arms, she was brave enough to let Daddy pull her around in the water. In no time, she was having a blast. She kicked her feet as he pulled her and it was really cute. She also enjoyed sitting on the steps and splashing the water with her hands. I think she was a little overwhelmed at first because she had never seen that much water before, but she ended up loving it!
Funny story: We told Justin's aunt about Kate swimming and she asked if Kate had ever been in the water before. And Justin responds, "well, we give her baths". LOL! I was cracking up. That's not what she meant, but still a pretty funny question.
Moving on . . . here are Kate's first swimming pictures. This happened on Momma's birthday (Feb. 13, 2009). She is not in a swimsuit because we didn't think about it until we were there. She did just fine in a onesie.
