I know that Kate has plenty of Aunts. However, this girl is just so close to my heart that we have to call her Aunt Katie. For those of you who don't know, Katie was one of my college roommates and our little Kate is named after her. She is one of the most loving, God-centered people I know and I am blessed to call her my friend. Katie is currently teaching English at a University in China and is also able to do the Lord's work while she is there. Katie was home part of this summer and Kate finally got to meet her. Katie is back in China now and I already miss her like crazy. She will be there for one more year. Please take some time to say a prayer for Katie and the work she is doing in China.
Actually, please take some time to pray for her whole family. Sammie (Katie's twin) is working with the HIM program in Australia. Their older brother, Clifford, died in a motorcycle accident in June. Katie and Sammie were both home this summer, but now they are both back overseas and their parents are home in Oklahoma. This is a very special family!
