My 2-year old brought tears to my eyes today and I had to share the story. Kate saw a picture of PaPa Nick holding her on facebook this morning. On the way to gymnastics, she was aking me about him. I asked Kate, "Where is PaPa Nick?" She quickly replied, "At home." I knew that she was confused, after all, death is a very hard concept for a little girl. So, I said, "No sweetie, PaPa Nick is in heaven with God." Little did I know, she wasn't confused at all. . . "I know Mom. He lives with God. THAT'S his HOME!" She is so right. How wonderful it will be when we are all AT HOME!

Made me cry, too. Children are so much smarter than adults.
Out of the mouths of babes! If only we could just slow down and listen, we would learn a lot!
