Kateisms

These are things I have put on Facebook, but I wanted to remember them. Enjoy!

Kate was watching me try on my regular (not maternity) clothes and I said, "Momma's pretty chubby right now." She looked up and replied, "I like chubby!" I guess Kate will NOT be my motivation for losing weight! 3/18/11


Justin is laying on the couch patting Jordyn's back and Kate climbs up and says, "You're patting her too hard. Pat her GENTLY" she proceeds to show him how and then says, "Yeah, GENTLY" when he patted her a little softer. 3/17/11

Kate informed me today that my belly is still big. She proceeded to ask me if there was another baby in my belly. . . oh the joys of 2 year-olds! 3/7/11

Kate tried to sit on my lap tonight. After being somewhat unsuccessful, she told me that my belly was getting too big and that Jordyn needed to get out of her way. I love her so much! 1/27/11

Kate (very dramatically): "I have a PROBLEM". Me: "Ok, what's your problem?" Kate: "I want to take a bath. Daddy said, 'TOMORROW'". (Imagine a concerned look with very wide eyes). Me: "You can take a bath after I get done sorting clothes." She was very excited. Justin had actually told her to ask me about taking a bath. I think she enjoys being a DRAMA QUEEN (she must get that from Justin Prindle)! 1/24/11

Last night, we moved Tegan's crib downstairs to Michelle's room and Kate came in while it was mostly apart, ran over to the crib, reached out, put her head down and in a distraught voice said, "Tegan's bed, RUINED!". Justin, Michelle and I could not contain our laughter! 1/20/11

Kate has a crush on Buzz Lightyear. . . she kissed him when he was on the TV. Justin Prindle , I believe we will have our hands full in a few years! 1/16/11

So, last night Kate and I were talking about best friends. . . here's how the conversation went.
Me: "Who is Dora's best friend?"
Kate:"Boots."
Me:"I think you're right. Boots IS Dora's best friend."
Kate: "Yes."
...Me: "Kate, who is your best friend?"
Kate: "Daddy!"
Me: "Oh, you are such a sweet girl. Daddy is your best friend."
Kate: "Yes, Daddy best friend."
She loves daddy so much! You're the best Justin Prindle! 8/16/10
