I am amazed every month when it is time to post about our little monkey being ANOTHER month old. She weighs 20 lbs (50th percentile) and is 29 inches long (75th percentile). Kate's new 10 month activities include:
1) standing for however long she wants
2) taking up to 10 steps (while trying to follow Momma)
3) standing up from a sitting position (this has only happened twice)
4) she loves, loves, loves to swim
5) she also enjoys playing in her sandbox
6) climbing everything, stairs ladders, the couches and chairs . . . this girl loves to climb
7) another favorite is climbing into her toy boxes and pretending to be stuck
8) Kate really likes to mimic us . . . GGma even caught her "dusting" with a paper towl after she saw Momma dusting at MiMi's house the weekend before
9) she reaches up and holds her hand out for us to give her anything she wants (and anything we have)
10) she hands everything to us to be inspected or just for us to hold . . . she thinks it is very fun to pick up things and hand them to use over and over and over again
11) another new fun activity is letting daddy stack up some blocks and then knocking them down
12) Kate still doesn't use any words besides Momma and Dada, but we are working on it. She definitely lets us know when she wants something, she just isn't using words yet.
13) this girl is definitely testing her limits - she knows not to touch my laptop but does sometimes and when I tell her no, she looks at me and reaches up and touches it again (usually with one finger) she is very very stubborn
I am way behind on posting pictures . . . I am hoping to get caught up soon!
We love our little monkey and can't believe how much she is growing and changing every day.

She is a busy little girl. My piano bench was certainly well dusted because she kept dusting in the same place. Maybe she will want to dust someplace else when she comes to my house again. Sure hope so! ;-)
Busy! And she looks so much like a little girl, not a baby anymore!!!
