It's hard to believe that our little monkey is already 9 months old. She changes more and more every day. She is starting to seem like a little girl instead of a baby. Kate now weighs 19 lbs, 9 oz (65th percentile) and is 28 1/2 inches long (8oth percentile). We love this girl so much!!!
Kate's new activities include:
1) Tossing a ball back and forth with Daddy (video to come)
2) Standing for 20 seconds (while actually knowing it) - for a while she would only stand by herself if she didn't realize she was doing it - She is getting much braver!
3) Walking around EVERYTHING very quickly. She is getting around alot better and faster since she doesn't really have to hold on very much.
4) Pushing around anything she can walk behing and push (mostly chairs)
5) Saying Momma very consistently and Dada pretty consistently. We also think she is calling her bottle nana (we aren't positive, but we think so).
6) She walks very well when held by both hands, she walks pretty well when holding one hand.
7) Taking 2 steps (as she fell) to get to Momma. - I am not counting this as "first steps" or anything, but as she leaned and fell toward me, she did make an effort to step instead of falling.
8) She is now very very fast on the stairs - she has been able to crawl up them for a while, but she is now a speedster!
9) Kate learned to turn around to get down. When she is on the couch, she turns around and puts her feet down first instead of just crawling off head first.
Kate is still drumming on everything and talking up a storm (I just wish I could understand)
Pictures and video to come!
